We had such a great time hosting our recent Learn-to-Play Pickleball Nights at Fairgrounds Public Racket Club in Kingston.
These evenings were designed to be low-pressure, beginner-friendly, and welcoming — a chance for people to try something new, move around, laugh a little, and connect with others in community, without needing to be excellent at anything.
Honestly, highly underrated.
Because we had a few prizes to draw after the events, we recorded the prize draw video below. To keep things privacy-friendly, winners are identified using first names and last initials only.
If your name was drawn - CONGRATULATIONS! Dr. Kris will email you so that we can arrange prize pickup.
More community pickleball nights are coming
We’re hoping to keep building more low-pressure community events like this over the summer.
Up next is Queer Pickleball Night on Thursday, May 28 at Fairgrounds Public Racket Club – Cataraqui Centre.
Queer Pickleball Night is a fun, friendly evening for LGBTQIA2S+ folks and allies. It is free to attend, 18+, and set up as free play rather than a lesson night. People can register for the 6:00 pm session, the 7:00 pm session, or both, depending on stamina, schedule, and current level of pickleball enthusiasm.
Not everyone is operating on a two-hour cardio pickleball agenda. We respect that deeply.

Can't wait to see y'all there!
Why is Limestone Clinic hosting pickleball nights?
At Limestone Clinic, when we're not on a pickleball court of course, most of our work happens inside the therapy room — helping adults with anxiety, trauma, relationships, burnout, stress, and all the other very human things that come with having a nervous system in the year 2026.
But we also know that connection, play, movement, and belonging matter too.
Community events like these are one small way we can help create more spaces where people can show up, try something new, and feel a little less alone — without needing to talk about their feelings under fluorescent lights across from someone who is holding a clipboard.
To be very clear: Queer Pickleball Night is a community event, not a therapy event. Nobody is being analyzed on the court. Your backhand is safe from clinical interpretation. Promise.
But, if you are looking for affirming adult therapy in Kingston or online across Ontario, you can learn more about our therapy services here:

We hope to see you at a future play night.
And if you didn’t win a prize this time, please accept our deepest condolences. Pickleball itself remains the real prize.
Probably.
