Uh oh. Strong emotions are leaking out in inconvenient and uncontrollable ways and you want a break from the distress. You're feeling jittery or unsettled, nervous, panicked, depressed, or irritable. You may even feel it in your body - your head, jaw, muscles, or guts may hurt or no longer 'work' quite the way they are supposed to. You thought this stuff was just temporary, and if you kept your chin up you could work it out. But, now you're noticing a creeping hopelessness that you can fix this on your own. To be honest, keeping your chin up is getting harder by the day.
At Limestone Clinic, we use counselling and psychotherapy to help all kinds of clients from Kingston and across Ontario make the improvements that are important to them. Our awesomesauce staff are very motivated to assist you in the way that makes the most sense to you. We don't prescribe drugs, and we don't apply a cookie-cutter approach. Every client is understood as a unique person and a tailor-made solution is created with you and your particular needs in mind.
Once you call, our first mission will be to learn about you, your personality, history, and goals through the use of tools and conversations to determine how we can best help, and the therapist and approach that’s right for you. After that, your treatment provider personally connects with you through regular meetings to help you custom-develop your own toolkit and techniques to practice in order to start changing how you feel, for good.
Finally, you should know: We believe in effective therapy that doesn't last forever.
This means that if you’ve accomplished your therapy goals and don’t need more sessions, we don’t push you to keep booking appointments—you fire us!
(Yep, you read that right - we aim to get fired.)

How will therapy help me?
