Yaaas Queen! We’re the pot of gold to your rainbow. Or at least, your safe place to process all the glitter that comes with being fabulous. ✨
You Deserve a Therapist Who Gets It (and Doesn’t Need a Crash Course in Pronouns)
We provide safe, supportive therapy for LGBTQIA++ clients across the identity spectrum — whether you're questioning, proudly queer, quietly figuring it out, or somewhere outside the binary.
We don’t just “accept” your identity. We celebrate it, affirm it, and give you a space where the work isn’t explaining yourself — it’s actually healing.
Our Approach: Real Therapy for Queer Humans, Not Just a Rainbow Sticker on the Door 🏳️🌈
At Limestone Clinic, we know your identity isn’t the problem — but the world can sure make it feel like one.
That’s why our therapy is:
-
💥 Trauma-informed
-
🏳️⚧️ Queer- and trans-affirming
-
🌎 Culturally aware
-
🧠 Sex-positive, kink-aware, and poly-inclusive (if that’s your jam)
-
💬 Rooted in real connection, not just clinical checkboxes
We won’t make you define “nonbinary” five minutes into a session.
We won’t ask weird questions about your relationship style.
We will hold space for your whole self — rage, joy, glitter, grief, and all.
If you’ve ever left therapy feeling more confused than seen? Let’s fix that.

What We Help With (a.k.a. Stuff That’s Totally Valid and We Actually Know How to Support 🛋️🌈
You bring the beautifully complex queer experience. We bring the clinical training and the emotional intelligence to meet you there — no judgment, no cringe, and no heteronormative advice disguised as therapy. 🥴
-
🌪️ Gender dysphoria, fluidity, & identity exploration
-
🧠 Anxiety, burnout, and depression from just existing in a world that wasn’t built for you
-
💔 Religious trauma & shame detox
-
🏳️🌈 Coming out (or not), late-blooming queerness, or questioning
-
🧃 Internalized phobias (we all drink that juice at some point — let’s spit it out)
-
👨👩👧👦 Family rejection, complicated relationships & found family stuff
-
💬 Consent, boundaries & communication in queer love and/or polyamory
-
✝️ LGBTQIA++ trauma from spiritual communities (shoutout to everyone who’s walked away from the shame table)
-
💖 Building joy, not just surviving

🛋️ We offer one-on-one talk therapy, either in-person (in Kingston) or online across Ontario.
You’ll meet with a therapist who understands the complex intersections of queer identity, mental health, trauma, and joy — without making it weird.
-
You can book a free phone consult or dive right into a first full session. Either way, we’ll listen — not label.
-
In Session 1, we get to know you — how life, identity, family, shame (ugh), joy (yay), and everything else weave together
-
We’ll help you explore what’s going on, what hurts, what’s uncertain, and what healing might actually look like for you
-
Sessions can be gentle, gritty, honest, even funny (yes! of course!)
-
You don’t need to explain your pronouns, your poly relationship, your faith trauma, or why you feel weird at Pride — we already get it
-
And no, you don’t have to be “out” to everyone or “sure” of anything to start
That’s more than okay. We’re not here to gatekeep identity — we’re here to help you feel safe being wherever you are right now.
Is Queer-Affirming Therapy Right for Me?
If you’re asking the question... there’s a decent chance the answer is yes. But let’s break it down.
You don’t need a diagnosis or a queer-encyclopedia to benefit from therapy. If any of these hit, you’re in the right place:
✅ You’re questioning your gender, your sexuality — or just what the hell you want
✅ You’ve been through therapy before and felt misunderstood, unseen, or flat-out judged
✅ You’re out to some people, not out to others, and exhausted trying to juggle it all
✅ You’re dealing with anxiety, perfectionism, people-pleasing, or burnout... and wondering how much of it is related to identity
✅ You’re still holding shame from your family, community, religion, or a million micro-moments you can’t even name
✅ You’re tired of censoring your stories, relationships, or pronouns
✅ You’re doing okay — but want to actually feel good
✅ You’re scared to start therapy, but really tired of holding it all alone
If any of this sounds familiar, we’ve got room for it.
And we’ve got room for you, exactly as you are — no performance required.

You’ve Done the Hard Part
(Seriously — You’re Already Here)
You’ve scrolled, you’ve read, maybe you’ve laughed a little, maybe even sighed in relief. Maybe you rolled your eyes at our fun little references or you've been secretly harbouring some queer, brunch-level judgement... 😒 We’re not offended. Honestly, it just proves you’ve got taste.
And if you’re still with us? That probably means something inside you is saying:
“Okay. I think I’m ready for this.” or,
"They're weird enough, I think this just might work."
Whether you’re fully out, quietly questioning, holding shame that isn’t yours, ready to meet our fun crew, or just really tired of performing, we’ve got space for you here.
No pressure. No fix-you energy. Just support that's as solid as that $90 sports bra they sell at Lulu.
We Know We’re Not for Everyone — That’s Kinda the Point 😉
(But if you’ve read this far, we’re probably for you.)
Our Blog Isn’t Queer-Specific (Yet)... But It's Real as Hell.
We’re still writing more rainbow-powered content, but these pieces?
Still full of good, honest, stigma-free support — no matter how you identify.
