Questions People Often Ask Nat

You should not have to force your brain, identity, or life story into a therapy model that was never built with you in mind. Here are a few common questions people ask before booking with Nat.

Informed support for neurodivergent adults.

Absolutely. Nat works extensively with neurodivergent adults around ADHD, autism, AuDHD, late identification, masking, burnout, executive functioning, sensory and emotional regulation, rejection sensitivity, self-esteem, relationships, school, work, and major life transitions. 2. Can Nat help with depression, low mood, or feeling emotionally stuck?

Neurodivergent clients often feel understood here.

You do not need to defend, minimize, or over-explain who you are before the real work can begin.

4. What if traditional talk therapy has never really worked for me?

A creative fit when cookie-cutter therapy has not clicked.

Nat is especially passionate about adapting therapy to the person rather than expecting the person to adapt to therapy. Depending on what helps you engage, sessions may include evidence-informed approaches alongside storytelling, humour, movement, art, games, role-playing, or your own special interests. Therapy does not have to feel rigid or overly clinical to be meaningful.

5. Can Nat help with trauma, anxiety, or feeling constantly overwhelmed?

Trauma-informed support for anxiety and overwhelm.

Yes. Nat works with trauma and complex trauma, childhood adversity, relational trauma, medical and injury-related trauma, anxiety, panic, emotional overwhelm, avoidance, and difficulties with emotional regulation. 6. Can Nat help with chronic pain, illness, injury, or disability adjustment?

Support when pain, illness, or injury changes the plan.

Yes. Nat has experience supporting adults adjusting to chronic pain, illness, significant injury, disability, loss of functioning, and changes in identity.
