🧩 Meet Mariah…

Campus Calm Creator | Couples Connector | Anxiety Ally

Therapy with me is like finding a safe place to land—whether you’re navigating exams and identity questions, or the ups and downs of a relationship.

I work with adults, postsecondary students and young adults at Queen’s, St. Lawrence, and RMC (anywhere, really!), as well as couples who are looking for support in reconnecting, communicating, or simply surviving life’s stressors together.

Whether you’re managing anxiety and panic attacks, juggling school and identity changes, or sitting across from your partner wondering how things got so complicated—I bring warmth, curiosity, and strategies that fit real life.

🧠 What It’s Like to Work With Me

Clients often say I’m both gentle and grounded—someone who listens deeply, notices the small but important details, and helps turn overwhelming problems into steps that feel doable.

Working with me is like sitting down with someone who isn’t judging, isn’t rushing, but is committed to helping you move forward—whether that’s toward calmer days as a student, or toward a healthier connection in your relationship.

🌟 A Bit More About Me

I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Alberta and my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. Before joining Limestone Clinic, I ran my own private practice in Alberta for five years, where I supported individuals and couples through a wide variety of challenges. I also worked in Employee and Family Assistance Programs (EFAPs) and provided Victim Services support in Edmonton, experiences that gave me a strong foundation in crisis response, trauma care, and supporting people at difficult turning points in their lives.

Community service has always been important to me. During my undergraduate years, I was a member of Delta Gamma Women’s Fraternity, where I volunteered with the CNIB (Canadian National Institute for the Blind) as a Sighted Guide. I’ve continued to support CNIB over the years by participating in fundraising walks and events, and I remain involved in community initiatives, including animal shelter fundraising and alumni mentorship for university women.

Before pursuing therapy full-time, I also worked in jewelry stores 💍, where I loved helping people mark life’s most meaningful milestones. That love of celebrating turning points continues to shape my work today as a therapist—I’m passionate about helping clients notice their own moments of growth, even the small ones, and making those milestones meaningful.
