Dr. Kris Boksman
Intensive Interventionist & Bad Mood Badass
Professional Mentor & Clinical Instructor
Dr. Kris, our clinic's founder, is a mom of two very loud and lovable boys. She drinks too much coffee, thinks about the exercising she would like to do, and appreciates dynamism in hairstyles.
Dr. Kris works in an intensive service model & does not offer weekly ongoing sessions. Her Jedi-power is quickly getting to the roots of emotional dysregulation by helping people process through formative interpersonal and event-based trauma with efficiency and precision.
Dr. Kris's best work is with those with depression and high-achievers (such as CEOs, lawyers, therapists, doctors, & just-plain-awesome moms). She specializes in trauma recovery, doing-too-much-ness, burnout, relationship-based trauma recovery, and healing from narcissistic abuse.

Q & A with
Dr. Kris Boksman
What made you decide to choose your role as a therapist?
“The moment I realized the beauty in my own vulnerability, I knew I wanted the honour of showing clients the internal change(s) that occurs when we are our most authentic. It soon became apparent to me that healing and growth are relational, both in the therapeutic setting and outside in the world.”
